I wanted to quickly mention that I found a great series of book that brings some amazingly complex projects to a rather simple start for people that may not be very acquainted with the subject material. Right now I have been reading "30 Arduino Project for the Evil Genius" it is about $15 on amazon. What brought my to find this book was a wild thought. How would I make a mouse for a computer? If I had a box of all the components for a mouse what would they be and how do you cross the hardware to software border? So, after looking around the net for books and such came across the ...for evil genius series. It is very diverse series of books ranging from using microcontrollers to modifying bicycles to extremes.
So what I have found out so far, and Arduino is a microprocessor chip that is relatively cheap at about $20-40 depending on model and retailer. A fun project that I thought up would be to use the Arduino to run an LED powered light show on a device or create a self contained robot. I hope this is a good start to what I have been learning for the week.

The Beginning!
Through my life I have picked up hobby after hobby to only learn it, get bored and move on. I thought learning something new so frequently, I would write a blog of my adventures as they progress through topics like: cars, firearms, microcontrollers, computers, mac/windows/linux, home entertainment, gaming, science, and life.
